Bruce, Melissa and Josh - thought you guys would appreciate this... The current excitement on Texel is that the island is being taken over by catamarans (and more tourists than usual) for the Round Texel race, which will be held this weekend (more info at www.roundtexel.com). Basically, the boats will go around Texel while everyone else parties on the beach. The festivities start this evening with some live music and a 70s/80s party on the beach. Tomorrow night there is more live music and a Caribbean party.

Isla, I just updated the latest few posts on your blog. I am not very good at staying current. Thanks for the chocolate that you brought over when you came for Oceana's graduation. It was so yummy. I brought it to camp with me and everyone enjoyed it. The Stropwafels were very good, too. How is your Dutch coming? Did you figure out what to make with the funny cabbage type thing? Have you met any cool people? You should tell us about them.

The fish sticks look really yummy... Some of the Dutch words resemble English so you can sort of figure out what you are buying and eating...xo
