June 14th, 2007: sprinkles for bread

I know some of you guys have seen these already... but if you haven't, it's true - sprinkles are put on bread here! Just take some white bread, butter it, and pour some sprinkles on and you have a Dutch sandwich.
Note the variety of flavors that the sprinkles are available in.

These sprinkles are actually quite good - they are made with real chocolate and they are not as waxy as the ones in the US. However, I think they would go better with ice cream than with bread...

It makes me wonder why all of those Europeans are so skinny!

Yup. The spinkle sandwich. If I had a dollar for each one of those I have seen around the office, I'd...uh...have enough money to go buy a beer.

Hey, those sprinkle box pictures were taken in my house! :-)

Yeah - if I had a euro for every time I've seen a sprinkle sandwich at work I would probably have an amount of money equivalent to my monthly salary...

What, no sharp cheese, mustard or jalapenos?
Strange sandwich indeed!

a sandwich with sprinkles, that is just weird, the purpose of a sandwich is to hold stuff like cheese, veggies or meat.or other things of importance.xo

Nate and I have been pounding the sprinkles lately. Just not on bread. I think I'll go have some right now, actually.
